Player law

In a system as complex as this mud no rules can be made to cover all situations. This document is intended to provide a clear idea of the types of behavior that are and are not allowed. If questions of whether or not a rule applies to a given situation should arise, the SPIRIT not the letter of the rules will be made to apply. Harassment of others will NOT be tolerated. Spamming (i.e. repeated pinging or tells), intentional continuation of actions when another player tells you to stop and abusive messages are all examples of harassment. Multiple simultaneous logins are NOT allowed. Multiple characters controlled by one person which are logged in at the same time will be dealt with harshly at the discretion of the administrators. Helping your other characters is NOT allowed. Similar to being logged in at the same time, you may not assist your other characters with equipment or money. Examples of this would be logging in with one character, dropping items then getting the items later with another character. Creators will NOT reimburse you for lost items. Crashes, bugs, lag, etc are an expected part of any mud and are part of the risk of playing muds. There will be no compensation for loss. NEVER accept an item from a creator. Such items are unapproved. Punishment for having such items is site banishment for both the player and creator involved. All bugs found are to be logged through the "bug" command. The first person to report a true bug will be rewarded with some amount of experience points to be determined by the administrator reviewing the bug log. Those found repeatedly exploiting a bug without reporting it will be punished at the discretion of the administrators. Treat all creators with respect. Without creators, the mud would not exist. It is they who made the world in which you play. Creators volunteer their time to work here. They are not here to serve you; they are here to create. Treat the creators with respect and you will find they will treat you in the same manner.
