Volume II, Issue VI*The fresh dirt on the MUD* March 9, 1999
IntroductionYep, another issue. Sorry to be flooding your mailboxes like this but I have been very motivated the last couple of weeks. The devel server is still down, and most likely wont be coming back up in the old location. I still haven't received the hard drive from it yet. Once again I apologize for the inconvience, and rest assured I am doing what I can to get another site secured and a server running on it.

Mudlib ChangesBecause 5 days is too long, reboots are going back to every 3 days.

Zaknefein has opened his first area. This area is a warehouse infested with rodents. The area is suitable for 1-7th level players. It can be found in the southeast corner of Harborside City.

Fighters now get a berserk command. This command raises attack skills and stats while lowering defensive skills and stats temporarily. It also make the fighter auto attack. A fighter must be drunk in order to berserk. The effects of berserk are stronger on single classed fighters.

Cleric offensive, defensive, and healing spells now have ANSI colors.

The undead Frank Sinatra, the first installment of the celebrity corpses, has been spotted in the Newburyport graveyard. Code by Xanax.

The missing room description in the sewers has been filled in, thanks to Zaknefein.

Tales have been told of Ogres eating adventurers to the southwest of Harborside city. These light fearing beasts have a ferocious appetite for humanoid flesh. Area coded by Darktoast.

True Stories of the Bug PatrolThe Jewel of Judgement will now stay in a bag, instead of popping out when you log in.

The typo log has been cleared.

Did You Know that...you can send multiple people the same tell by using commas? IE: tell shwaine, darktoast, xanax I love this mud!

the wheel of (mis)fortune allows you to advance your stats over the normal maximum?

you can find out who is on without a lot of spam by typing using the qwho command?

Behind the ScenesYbarra has applied to become a wizard, and has been accepted. Hopefully he will have a place to code in soon.
