Introduction	As you may or may not know, a copy of the lib was sneakily pilfered from our new server. We have once again tightened security, and we are taking steps to insure that this wont happen again.
Mudlib Changes	Rangers can only call their birds once an hour. Paladin's can only call their horses once an hour. A Darkness spell has been added. It is much like the light spell, but reduces light levels by 1. A new score sheet has been put in. It is much more legible and has more information on it than the previous version. The score brief command will also act like the ss (short score) command. A reply command has been added. When someone sends you a tell, you can simple type reply Message Example: Cracker tells you: You are a carbohydrate reply You are unleaved. You tell cracker: You are unleavened. Somewhere between a clan, a race, and a monster lie the vampires. Burnt by sunlight, but feeding from blood, the vampire code is just about ready to be installed. It will be somewhat like a party, with a private channel and members of different rankings. Vampires will allow ways to regenerate hit points and spell points with blood. The way that the Best Parties of Malevolence score has been reworked to show parties ranked by total XP earned, and has been provided with a nicer layout. You may see some glass beetles running around. These magical creatures are impossible to kill. Their purpose is to eat bottles, flasks, and mugs, and they wander the world fulfilling their unending appetite for glass.
Area Changes	Voodoo dolls have been downgraded. They have 1/2 the number of charges,and cast at a level 18% lower than previously.
Sports	Jant won the first round of the tournament. Some bugs are keeping the tournament from working entirely properly.
Did You Know	Most monsters will answer to monster? Look monster will generally show you a description of the monster you are in the room with, regardless of its name. When you have charmed a monster, you can use npc as a substitute for the monsters name? This makes it much easier to control charmed monsters with two names.
Behind the Scenes	The admins from Aborrattion, Enkidu, and our selves have begun work on a new developer mud, where we will share code and ideas. Look for lots of interesting new stuff to come of this project, called The 7th level of Hell.
Creators Corner	The base room inherit file now contains an autowrapping feature that makes all rooms have a standardized line length and format. To make sure it all stays looking good, do not use extra spaces at the end of your lines, or use more than one \n as a line break.
Upcoming	Finances allowing, we should begin a paid advertising campaign for Malevolence in the next 2 weeks. Advertising banners for Malevolence will appear on such web sites as The Mud Connector, Zuggsoft, and The Mud Journal.
